Espacio Valverde was founded by Asela Pérez and Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart as a platform to develop a very personal vision of contemporary art and its connections with literature, philosophy, architecture and everyday life.

Alongside its exhibition programme, the gallery regularly organises meetings, conversations and activities aimed at broadening the paths between contemporary art and other frameworks of thought.

After developing a strong commitment to a generation of Spanish artists, the gallery has devoted itself to their internationalisation and institutionalisation, while enriching its programme with a selection of international artists.

To make this possible, Espacio Valverde works in collaboration with various agents, museums, art critics, galleries, etc., while nurturing its roots in other modes of thought.
