Geometría en Proceso: Construcciones del Espacio

We are pleased to invite you to the fifth solo exhibition by Robert Ferrer I Martorell at Espacio Valverde. It is astonishing to reflect on all that we have traveled together since that first show in 2012: we have presented his work across Europe, America, and Asia, and developed incredible projects that have allowed us to grow both materially and spiritually, constituting a vibrant chapter in our shared biography.

Robert has always remained true to his hand — understood not only as an instrument but as a way of thinking — and to his artisanal approach to geometry. Yet, his work has increasingly incorporated a mathematical logic: constraints, operational rules, and proportional relationships that define sizes, colors, and internal structures.

In this new exhibition, each piece contains a number. Often, these secret relationships reveal truths that our perception contradicts. It is in this tension between geometry and emotion that his work connects with architecture, music, and theater.
