Elena Alonso

Elena Alonso (Madrid, 1981), develops her work mainly through drawing, a practice that serves as a construction method and tool of thought which can be seen in her projects that are more sculptural, installation-based or site specific. She maintains a close relationship with other disciplines such as architecture, craft and design, appropriating its codes, methodologies and finishes. Her work is characterized by paying special attention to problems related to affectivity with the environment and the relationships of proximity in the production of her work.
