Geometry in Process: Constructions of Space
 

We are pleased to invite you to Robert Ferrer I Martorell's fifth solo exhibition at Espacio Valverde. It's astonishing how far we've come together since that first exhibition in 2012: we've presented his work in Europe, America, and Asia, and developed amazing projects that have helped us grow both materially and spiritually, constituting a passionate chapter in our lives.

 

Robert has always been faithful to his hand—understood not only as an instrument, but as a way of thinking—and to his artisanal approach to geometry. But his work has increasingly incorporated mathematical logic: constraints, operational rules, and proportional relationships that define sizes, colors, and internal structures.

 

In this new exhibition, each work contains a number. These secret relationships often reveal truths that our perception contradicts. It is in this tension between geometry and emotion that his work connects with architecture, music, and theater.
